Chlorine Removal :
We supply specialist grades of granulated activated carbon (GAC) for chlorine removal from water.
Example applications:
- Removal of chlorine from municipal water supply to dairy / food processing plant.
- Removal of chlorine from municipal water supply to a water / beverage bottling plant.
Activated carbon can also remove bromine and iodine.
GAC - Granulated Carbon Use
The granular activated carbon is used as a filter in a vessel through which the water is pumped. The GAC is regularly backwashed and does not need to be replaced until it is exhausted which may take several years.
