Waste Water Treatment :
We supply specialist grades of powdered and granular activated carbon for waste water. Anthracite may also be used.
PAC - Powdered Activated Carbon
The powdered activated carbon is dosed into the waste water in small amounts and removed downstream with the sludge.
GAC - Granular Activated Carbon
The granular activated carbon is used as a filter in a vessel through which the water is pumped. The GAC is regularly backwashed and does not need to be replaced until it is exhausted which may take several years.
